Welcome to Aligned Tarot.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aligned Tarot website, community, programs, memberships, digital resources, educational materials, coaching services, tarot-related services, and other offerings provided by ATL Coaching (“Aligned Tarot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, joining the Aligned Tarot community, purchasing an offering, or using our content or services, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully.

1. About Aligned Tarot

Aligned Tarot offers reflective tarot education, journaling practices, personal-development resources, community experiences, coaching, and related programs designed to support reflection, discernment, self-trust, and personal growth.

Our approach treats tarot as a tool for reflection and exploration rather than as a method for predicting the future or providing definitive answers about what will happen.

Our work is grounded in the belief that you remain the authority on your own life. Tarot cards, coaching conversations, educational materials, community discussions, and other tools offered through Aligned Tarot are intended to help you explore your own thoughts, experiences, perspectives, and possibilities.

2. Eligibility

Aligned Tarot offerings are intended for adults age 18 and older.

By using our website, joining our community, or purchasing an offering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Educational and Reflective Nature of Our Services

Aligned Tarot provides educational, reflective, coaching, and personal-development services.

Nothing provided through Aligned Tarot should be considered medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, financial, tax, or other licensed professional advice or services.

Tarot readings, coaching conversations, journaling prompts, community discussions, educational materials, AI-assisted reflection, and other Aligned Tarot resources are not substitutes for services provided by qualified professionals.

If you need professional assistance in any of these areas, you are responsible for seeking an appropriately qualified professional.

4. Personal Responsibility and No Guaranteed Results

You are responsible for your own decisions, choices, actions, interpretations, and results.

Aligned Tarot may offer questions, perspectives, practices, resources, and opportunities for reflection. You decide what those insights mean for you and whether or how to act upon them.

Personal growth is individual, and results vary. We do not promise or guarantee any particular personal, professional, financial, emotional, spiritual, relationship, business, or other outcome from participating in Aligned Tarot or using its resources.

Participation in Aligned Tarot does not transfer responsibility for your life decisions to ATL Coaching, Aligned Tarot, a tarot card, a community member, an AI tool, or any other resource used in connection with our offerings.

5. The Aligned Tarot Community

Aligned Tarot is intended to be a thoughtful, respectful environment in which members can learn, reflect, experiment, ask questions, and share experiences.

By participating in the community, you agree to treat other members with respect and to refrain from harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, spam, solicitation, deliberately disruptive behavior, or other conduct that interferes with the safety or reasonable enjoyment of the community.

Different interpretations and perspectives are welcome. Personal attacks are not.

We reserve the right to moderate content and to remove posts, comments, materials, or members when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the community, enforce these Terms, comply with platform requirements, or maintain the purpose and integrity of Aligned Tarot.

Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from the community without a refund, except where otherwise required by law.

6. Privacy Within a Community Setting

Members sometimes choose to share personal experiences, reflections, tarot readings, journal insights, questions, or other information within the Aligned Tarot community.

Please use good judgment when deciding what to share.

Community spaces are not the same as private one-to-one coaching sessions. Although we ask members to respect one another's privacy and not reproduce another member's personal story outside the community without permission, we cannot guarantee that information voluntarily shared with other members will remain confidential.

You agree not to copy, screenshot, publish, distribute, or otherwise share another member's personal information, story, image, post, or other private contribution outside the community without that person's permission.

7. Skool Platform

The Aligned Tarot community and paid memberships and programs are currently hosted through Skool.

When you use Skool, you are also subject to Skool's applicable terms, policies, payment procedures, privacy practices, and platform requirements.

Payments for Aligned Tarot memberships and programs offered through Skool are processed through the Skool platform. ATL Coaching does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card information for those transactions.

Membership subscription management and cancellation are also handled through the Skool platform.

Skool is a third-party platform that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for outages, technical problems, account restrictions, changes in platform functionality, or other actions or omissions attributable to Skool.

8. Payments and Recurring Memberships

Prices, payment schedules, billing periods, and other purchase details will be displayed at the time you purchase an Aligned Tarot offering.

If you purchase a recurring membership or subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your account according to the billing schedule presented at purchase until you cancel.

You are responsible for managing your subscription and payment information through the applicable platform.

Cancellation of a recurring membership prevents future renewals according to the platform's applicable procedures. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for payments already made.

9. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to feel good about your decision to invest in Aligned Tarot.

If you are a new paid member or purchase a new Aligned Tarot program and decide within 30 days of your initial purchase that the offering is not right for you, contact us to request a refund.

After the 30-day satisfaction-guarantee period, payments already made are generally non-refundable.

Recurring memberships may be cancelled through Skool at any time to prevent future renewal, subject to Skool's applicable cancellation procedures.

We recognize that unusual circumstances happen. ATL Coaching may choose to provide a refund outside the standard policy when we believe doing so is fair and appropriate. Any such exception does not change this policy or create an obligation to provide the same exception in other circumstances.

Additional terms disclosed at the time of purchase may apply to particular services or offerings.

10. Coaching and Individual Services

Certain Aligned Tarot offerings may include individual or group coaching, tarot sessions, or other personalized services.

Those services may be subject to an additional client agreement, scheduling policy, cancellation policy, or other terms provided at the time of purchase.

If a separate written agreement applies to a particular service, that agreement will control if there is a direct conflict between that agreement and these general Terms with respect to that service.

11. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party Reflection Tools

Some Aligned Tarot practices, programs, or resources may invite or teach you to use artificial intelligence (“AI”) as an optional thinking or reflection partner.

AI is a tool, not an authority.

AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or misleading. You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated responses and deciding whether they are meaningful or useful to you.

You should not rely upon AI-generated responses as medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice or as a substitute for your own judgment.

When you independently enter personal information, journal entries, tarot reflections, questions, or other content into a third-party AI service, that information is being provided to the third-party service and is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

ATL Coaching cannot guarantee the privacy, security, accuracy, availability, or handling of information you voluntarily submit to third-party AI platforms.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the original content provided by Aligned Tarot and ATL Coaching—including written materials, exercises, frameworks, prompts, worksheets, workbooks, videos, recordings, graphics, program materials, methods, course content, and downloadable resources—is owned by ATL Coaching or used with permission.

Your purchase or membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use those materials for your own personal purposes.

You may not reproduce, sell, license, distribute, publish, upload, teach, substantially copy, commercially exploit, or create derivative commercial products from our proprietary materials without prior written permission.

You may, of course, talk about what you are learning, describe your own experience, and use ideas from your personal reflective practice in your own life.

Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over your personal stories, journal entries, tarot interpretations, reflections, ideas, or other original content you create.

13. Member-Contributed Content

You retain ownership of original content you create and share within the Aligned Tarot community.

By voluntarily posting content within the community, you give us permission to display that content within the community as reasonably necessary to operate the community and provide the service.

We will not intentionally use a member's private personal story, testimonial, image, or identifiable contribution for public marketing purposes without permission.

14. Testimonials and Experiences

Testimonials, member stories, examples, or experiences shared on our website or in promotional materials describe individual experiences.

They are not promises or guarantees that another person will achieve the same or similar results.

When we use an identifiable member's testimonial, story, image, or personal experience for marketing purposes, we will obtain appropriate permission.

15. Website and Digital Content

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information, but we do not guarantee that every piece of website or program content will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every person or circumstance.

We may update, revise, discontinue, replace, or change website content, programs, resources, community features, schedules, or other offerings from time to time.

We may also temporarily or permanently discontinue an offering when reasonably necessary.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website, programs, emails, or community may use or link to third-party platforms, applications, websites, tools, products, or services.

These third parties operate independently from ATL Coaching and have their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

Your use of a third-party service is subject to your relationship with that provider.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ATL Coaching and Aligned Tarot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of our website, community, programs, content, services, or third-party resources.

You understand that personal reflection, coaching, journaling, tarot exploration, and personal-development work may sometimes bring up challenging thoughts, emotions, or experiences.

You remain responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for obtaining additional professional support when needed.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold ATL Coaching and Aligned Tarot harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our materials or services, infringement of another person's rights, or unlawful conduct in connection with Aligned Tarot.

19. Termination of Access

You may stop using our services or cancel an ongoing membership according to the applicable cancellation procedures.

We may suspend or terminate access when a person materially violates these Terms, misuses our intellectual property, fails to make required payments, engages in harmful or unlawful conduct, or seriously disrupts the Aligned Tarot community.

When ATL Coaching discontinues a paid service or terminates access for reasons unrelated to a member's misconduct, we will determine an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances, which may include continued access for a reasonable period, alternative delivery, or a prorated refund for services not provided.

20. Privacy

Your use of Aligned Tarot is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information.

When you use third-party services such as Skool or other external platforms, their privacy policies also apply to information collected by those services.

21. Changes to These Terms

Our business and offerings may evolve.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

The current version will be posted on our website with its effective or “Last Updated” date.

Material changes will apply prospectively as appropriate. Your continued use of our services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter directly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any additional dispute-resolution requirements contained in an applicable client or program agreement will apply.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Refund & Cancellation Policy, any applicable purchase terms, and any separate client or program agreement, constitute the terms applicable to your relationship with ATL Coaching and Aligned Tarot.

When a specific written agreement applies to a particular service, its more specific provisions will control in the event of a direct conflict with these general Terms.
